2 VLIW
(Very Long Instruction Word) архитектура [процессора] с командными словами очень большой длины (со сверхдлинным командным словом), архитектура VLIWв такой команде объединено несколько обычных команд (более короткой длины), которые для повышения быстродействия выполняются одновременно (параллельно) разными функциональными блоками процессора. Рост производительности достигается за счёт того, что процессору не нужно тратить время на организацию параллелизма на уровне команд (см. ILP). Группирование параллельно исполняемых операций выполняется компилятором. Таким образом, характеристики компьютера будут сильно зависеть от качества компилятора, а ручная оптимизация программы очень сложна. VLIW-архитектуру предложил в 1979 г. сотрудник Йельского университета Дж. 4 RISC
1) Reduced Instruction Set Computing (technology) - вычисления с сокращённым набором команд, RISC-архитектураархитектура процессоров, построенная на основе сокращённого набора команд (их обычно в три раза меньше, чем у аналогичных по разрядности обычных CISC-процессоров). Характеризуется наличием команд фиксированной длины (обычно в одно машинное слово), исполняемых за один машинный такт, большого количества регистров (поскольку все операнды команд должны находиться в регистрах), операций типа регистр-регистр (все, кроме команд чтения и записи в память), а также отсутствием косвенной адресации. Работа с памятью сводится только к загрузке и сохранению регистров, поэтому другое название RISC - load-store architecture. Концепцию RISC разработал Джон Кок ( John Cocke) из IBM Research, название придумал профессор университета в Беркли Дэвид Паттерсон (David Patterson), однако ещё до того как была разработана эта концепция похожие принципы были реализованы в машине Cray-2. Одним из недостатков RISC-архитектуры считается фиксированная длина команд, требующая для хранения программы большего объёма памяти. С другой стороны, эта архитектура сильно упрощает конвейеризацию, на 20-30% сокращает объём логики дешифрации команд и позволяет увеличить тактовую частоту ЦП. набор команд [процессора], система командсовокупность всех машинных команд ( machine instruction), которые исполняются данным процессором. Наборы команд разных процессоров отличаются друг от друга. Сами команды различаются по типам операций, а также могут делиться на привилегированные (privileged instruction) и непривилегированные (nonprivileged instruction). Типичный набор состоит из арифметических и логических команд, команд пересылки данных, команд управления и ввода-вывода. Набор команд - составная часть архитектуры процессора, видимая программисту, и может рассматриваться в качестве интерфейса между программным и аппаратным обеспечением.
